Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC)
A Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) is a soft flexible tube inserted into the arm. This catheter can be placed when need long term or frequent intravenous treatments. Giving intravenous (through a vein) medications like antibiotics or taking blood samples can be done through the catheter without sticking needles in the arm. The catheter is placed into a large vein in the upper arm. The tip of the catheter lies in a large vein above the heart.
FEATURES
- High quality material with excellent biocompatibility.
- Adjustable length of catheter.
- Detectable under X ray, the end tip enhances radiopacity.
- The stylet of catheter ensures placement more convenient and smooth.
- Variety of kit configuration, nitinol guide wire and positive pressure needless connector is available for choice.

Round or Triangle Hub
Double, triple and quad lumen catheter have round or triangle hub for choice.

Soft Tip
Soft tip reduces trauma to vessel, minimizing vessel erosion, hemothorax and cardiac tamponade. Single, double, triple and quad lumen is available for choice.

ECG Cable
ECG Cable is avalaible.

Depth Making
Depth marking assists in accurate placement of central venous catheter from the right or left subclavian or jugular vein.

Radiopacity
Radiopacity facilitates confirmation of catheter placement. The multi-lumen version's tips are more radiopaque, which makes it easy to confirm the placement of fluoroscopic tip.

Antibacterial CVC
The tubing is made from polyurethane which mixed with silver-containing zirconium phosphate at nanometer level, when the catheter is placed into the body, Ag+ will be released to inhibit bacteria growing.
Silicon version
Applications where silicone PICCs excel:
- Long-Term Therapy: Ideal for patients requiring weeks to months of IV access (e.g., prolonged antibiotics, chronic conditions).
- Sensitive Veins: Preferred for patients with a history of phlebitis, thrombosis, or fragile veins due to their softness and lower vessel trauma.
- Chemotherapy: Excellent chemical resistance makes them suitable for many chemotherapy regimens.
- TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition): Safe and durable for long-term nutritional support.
- Frequent Blood Draws: Generally well-tolerated for repeated blood sampling

TPU version
Applications where TPU PICCs excel:
- Power Injection: Mandatory for patients requiring contrast-enhanced CT scans via the PICC.
- High-Flow/Rapid Infusion: Critical care, trauma, rapid fluid resuscitation, blood product administration.
- Viscous Solutions: TPN (especially with lipids), blood transfusions.
- Patients with Difficult Vasculature/Tortuous Veins: Better trackability aids insertion success.
- Shorter to Medium-Term Therapy: Excellent for weeks to several months. Long-term use (e.g., >6-12 months) is also common and successful.
- Situations Where Kinking is a Concern: Areas of high flexion (antecubital fossa).
- Patients Needing Smaller Insertion Sites: Smaller introducer sheath size is advantageous.
