High Specific Bilirubin Absorption column (DX350)
DX Series bilirubin adsorption column is designed for treatment of fulminant hepatitis, post-operative liver failure, primary biliary cirrhosis, hyperbilirubinemia and Bile acid syndrome. The adsorption of direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin and bile acid from plasma and is an effective and safe approach for hemopurification of the patients who have hepatopathy such as fulminant hepatitis, post-surgery hepatic failure, primary biliary cirrhosis and hyperbilirubinemia.

Treatment Sketch
Plasma Bilirubin Absorption: After separated, the plasma is purified by passing through DX Series bilirubin absorption column and subsequently return back to human body. Double Plasma Molecule Absorption System (DPMAS): After separated, the plasma successively passes through DX Series bilirubin absorption column and MG hemoperfusion cartridge and subsequently return back to human body.

Double Plasma Molecular Absorption System (DPMAS) Clinical Study
Result of Clinical Study: Bilirubin level declined signifi cantly after DPMSA treatment, there was also statistical signifi cance in terms of infl ammatory mediators clearance. The combined treatment of bilirubin absorption column and MG Series Hemoperfusion cartridge, Double Plasma Molecular Absorption enable to specifically clear bilirubin, meanwhile is capable of eliminating inflammatory mediators, relieving the inflammatory symptom, immunoreaction, and improving prognosis.
Absorption Mechanism
The function of bilirubin adsorption is decided by electrostatic interaction between the negative charge of the carboxyl group of bilirnbin and the positive charge of quaternary ammonium salt of the anion exchange resin.
Clinical Study of Plasma Bilirubin Absorption
Result of clinical studies in Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, Foshan Affi liated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Guangzhou Eighth People’s Hospital: There was a significant decline for every indicator after absorption treatment. Conclusion: DX350 is not inferior to Japanese control sample, it has good capability of clearing bilirubin and bile acid, the patients liver function is improved after treatment and the clinical symptom is relieved at different level, it’s effective after integrated clinical evaluation. Simultaneously, it has excellent biocompatibility.
